Dr. Titty Varghese, PhD completed her doctoral dissertation in Political Science, at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) in Lithuania. Her research, titled "Mapping Leadership Traits and Challenges of Women's Political Empowerment at Panchayati Raj Institutions in Kerala State of India," focused on the political empowerment of women within Kerala's Local Self-Government Institutions.

The study employed theoretical frameworks such as participation and democratic theory, leadership theory, liberal feminism, and intersectional feminism. Data were collected through direct interviews with local self-government representatives in Kerala during an Erasmus+ internship in 2018–2019. Findings indicated that the Panchayati Raj Institutions policy enhanced women's political empowerment, with women leaders exhibiting traits like intelligence, confidence, determination, integrity, and sociability. Despite these positive developments, challenges rooted in social and cultural contexts persisted. Notably, male counterparts displayed a supportive attitude toward women's political leadership at the local self-government level.

Beyond her academic achievements, Dr. Varghese is the Founder of PMTV Publishing House and serves as an educational consultant, author, and spiritual guide, offering profound insights into personal growth and development.

Her work contributes significantly to understanding and advancing women's roles in political leadership within local governance structures.
